"Mid-pale lemon. Very classic, fresh but ripe apple and lemon. Medium-bodied with tangy, brisk acidity. Touch of leesiness, and spice and vanilla from the oak. Fresh and vigourous. Moderate volume and length." 16 pts., Matthew Hayes,

2022 Domaine Jacques Carillon, Puligny-Montrachet 6x75cl

Pale yellow, firm bouquet as a little bit of sulphur at this stage. Clean, brisk, medium powerful. Fills out really well on the palate, with a grapey generosity. More spritz in a second sample, a... tiny bit more alcohol, but excellent length. The third is crunchy and spicy. Excellent. Seven plots in all across the village Drink from 2027-2032. Tasted: October 2023. 90-93 pts., Jasper Morris MW,
