Mathias is so happy with the whites produced in his Hautes Côtes vineyard above Nuits-Saint-Georges that he is replacing more of the plot's pinot with chardonnay. Following the domaine's tight and... mineral style, here is a white balancing fresh citrus and just a hint of stone fruit with a minerally edge on the finish. Excellent texture, refreshing and precise. Excellent.

Vinified with a combination of 500L old oak barrels and... stainless steel vats, it is a gorgeously fresh expression of the local terroir. White peach and acacia flowers dominate the subtle nose, followed by a textured, beautifully balanced citrusy palate that will have you reachng for another glass... Fresh and pretty on the nose with just a pleasant hint of bell pepper, along with floral aromatics. On the palate, this is soft and juicy with lovely character, beautifully crunchy and moreish -... "très digeste" according to Thibault's exceptionally knowledgeable assistant Marjolaine, which I would translate as extremely gluggable... Very pretty, Fresh, almost pithy-nose, a little grapefruit. Some apple and wet stone, too. On the palate very seductive texture, great mouthfill and moving from white peach and citrus to a very... saline, wet stone notes on the finish.
