2025 Chateau Beaumont Haut Medoc Cru Bourgeois 6x75cl
JA91NM90-92
“The 2025 Beaumont was cropped at just 25 hl/ha. It has a very lifted and perfumed, fruity nose that oddly reminds me of a low SO2 wine, and I don't mean that negatively (noted on second and third... sample bottles). There is very attractive purity. The palate is medium-bodied with fine but firm tannins, well-judged acidity and a light patina of new oak that will be absorbed with time. Very "pencil box", almost Pauillac-like on the finish. A couple of years in bottle and you will have a fine Beaumont on your hands. Lovely length on the aftertaste too! Just 12.9% alcohol.”

NM90-92
"The 2024 Branaire Ducru was cropped at a respectable 41.5 hl/ha between September 20 and October 9. It has a delightful bouquet with pure blackberry, blueberry and light violet scents percolating... through with time. There's just a touch of iodine in the background. The palate is medium-bodied with pliant tannins, pretty black fruit laced with cassis and touches of white pepper. There is an elegant framework on the finish so that this Saint-Julien slips down the throat with ease, as I am sure it will once in bottle. Whilst this does not reach the heights of the 2022, this is destined to be a very delicious Branaire Ducru. Drink: 2028-2048" 90-93 pts., Neal Martin, vinous.com
