We generally use specialised fine wine delivery couriers rather than standard couriers, giving a much higher level of care and accuracy in delivering fine wines safely to you. Wines can be delivered duty-paid to UK addresses upon payment of the required duty, VAT, delivery and storage charges (if applicable). Duty and VAT are as set by HMRC at the time of delivery. Delivery charges are based on number of cases to be delivered and are standard for all UK addresses except highlands and islands. Please ask for a quotation for highlands and islands, transfers to another bonded warehouse and for international transfers.

Storage
Mr.Wheeler’s Private Reserves offer perfect storage conditions for your fine wine until you are ready to drink or sell it. Our in-bond facilities are temperature and moisture-controlled, fully insured at replacement value, and accessible whenever you want. At Mr.Wheeler’s specialist wine storage facility in Burton-Upon-Trent, all private client reserves are marked with a unique rotation number as required by HM Revenue & Customs for bonded goods. In addition, each case of wine is clearly identifiable, confirming your ownership.

Whilst his reds clearly demonstrate... why Chassagne first established its reputation as a red wine commune, Jean-Marc’s whites are seductive and richly-textured with superb precision, opened aromatics and flawless balance. From modest Santenay and St Romain to the exalted Chevalier-Montrachet, there is also something to suit all budgets – only one thing is certain: we all need one (or three) of Jean-Marc’s wines in our Burgundy selection.
There is a warm, buttered brioche character to this which is beautifully balanced by a citrus zing of acidity. The cool, hill terrior of the St Romain is fully expressed with an elegant and finely structured wine, and the subtle use of a little oak fermentation rounds it off to perfection.

2021 Boyer Martenot, Bourgogne Aligote 6x75cl
Aligoté. A grape variety that is often ignored or overlooked, but one very much on the rise across the Côte d'Or, and which can be a real delight in the hands of top producers. Vincent’s lovely... example comes from vines in the Meursault region but located on richer and more fertile soils than those reserved for his chardonnay and pinot noir. Deliciously fresh and uplifting with a perfume of apricots and pear, it is a clean and mouth-watering aperitif wine which will also complement seafoods and salads.
