“The quality of this cuvée continues to be sky high, and I loved the 2020 Côte Rotie La Mordorée. Medium to full-bodied, utterly seamless, and as elegant as they come, it has already complex notes of black raspberries, smoked game, cassis, new leather, and some rocky mineral-like nuances. Made from 100% destemmed Syrah that’s still resting in 30% new barrels, it will have 20-25 years of longevity.” 97-99 pts., Jeb Dunnuck

Robert Parker 94-96
As always, the 2020 Cote Rotie la Mordorée is a blend of two adjacent parcels: one in La Côte Blonde and one in La Côte Brune. Menthol, blueberries and raspberries appear on the nose of this full-bodied, concentrated but seemingly weightless effort. Fine and silky in feel, it finishes long and elegant. It should be approachable within a few years and drink well for up to two decades. [20/01/2022]

Delivery
We generally use specialised fine wine delivery couriers rather than standard couriers, giving a much higher level of care and accuracy in delivering fine wines safely to you. Wines can be delivered duty-paid to UK addresses upon payment of the required duty, VAT, delivery and storage charges (if applicable). Duty and VAT are as set by HMRC at the time of delivery. Delivery charges are based on number of cases to be delivered and are standard for all UK addresses except highlands and islands. Please ask for a quotation for highlands and islands, transfers to another bonded warehouse and for international transfers.
Please read our Delivery page for more details.
