His ‘Giroflarie’ is considered by many to be the most ‘Burgundian’ of cuvées in the appellation, drinking quite deliciously in its youth yet also packing the stuff for a good 20 years of graceful ageing.

We generally use specialised fine wine delivery couriers rather than standard couriers, giving a much higher level of care and accuracy in delivering fine wines safely to you. Wines can be delivered duty-paid to UK addresses upon payment of the required duty, VAT, delivery and storage charges (if applicable). Duty and VAT are as set by HMRC at the time of delivery. Delivery charges are based on number of cases to be delivered and are standard for all UK addresses except highlands and islands. Please ask for a quotation for highlands and islands, transfers to another bonded warehouse and for international transfers.

"This great wine is the worthy representative of the “mountain” of Gigondas. Composed of 80 percent Grenache and the rest Mourvèdre, this dense, structured, textured yet fresh wine captures... fully the character of grapes produced by our oldest vines, growing on the limestone scree at the base of the Dentelles de Montmiral, between 300 and 500 meters in altitude.
