“The 2019 Le Petit Haut Lafitte Blanc is bright, airy and effusive. Even with 20% Sémillon, the Le Petit Blanc is light on its feet. Lemon peel, white flowers, crushed rocks mint and chalk are beautifully sculpted. This chiseled, nuanced white is all class. A bright, saline finish rounds things out in grand style. Gorgeous.” 93 pts., Antonio Galloni, www.vinous.com
The 2019 Le Petit Smith Haut Lafitte is fabulous. Rich, powerful and vibrant, Le Petit packs a serious punch. Readers will have a hard time keeping their hands off this jewel of a wine. Black cherry, plum, new leather, licorice, mocha and dried herbs build as this effusive, generous wine shows off its racy, alluring personality. I loved it. [Antonio Galloni, 01/02/2022]
