Tasting Notes
Jasper Morris 92-95
Grown on stony soil, naturally low yielding so they don’t have to de-leaf or de-bud so much. 70% whole bunch. Rich dark black-purple, the nose, while concentrated, is more sombre. Not quite pyrazines, in fact it is more the whole bunch, this has less weight and texture but a more linear intensity and sweet dark raspberry fruit returns at the back. The finish shows real class, a touch of blackcurrant but without reduction. For longer keeping.

Cranberry and rhubarb fruit. Furry tannins on the palate, giving a very chewy finish. Dense and rich, but nothing too ripe – very much a more severe style.
