2019 Domaine Lecheneaut, Nuits-Saint-Georges Premier Cru, Les Damodes 6x75cl

JM93
"This holding constitutes just about the last vines in Nuits-St-Georges before Vosne-Romanée, on light sandy well drained soil. Deep imperial purple in colour, this Damodes is all about the fruit on... the nose. Excellent intensity, deep raspberry, power all the way through yet with fine balance. A fresh crunch to finish." 93 pts., Jasper Morris MW, insideburgundy.com

2020 Benjamin Leroux, Volnay Premier Cru, Les Mitans 6x75cl

JM88-91VM90-92
"The 2020 Volnay Les Mitans 1er Cru has a generous bouquet with red cherries, blackcurrant and violet aromas. The palate is medium-bodied with sappy red fruit, quite spicy with white pepper and clove notes towards the finish. Very fine, but it needs time." 90-92 pts., Neal Martin, vinous.com

2020 Domaine Heresztyn-Mazzini, Gevrey-Chambertin Premier Cru, Champonnet 6x75cl

JM91-94JR16.5
"100% whole bunch vinification. Deep purple black. This is immensely more powerful on the nose. Spicy dark fruit, but please note not cooked at all and retaining a fresh vigour on the palate. Dark... raspberry, with correct tannins and good acidity, plus the hoped for persistence. Completely different in style to Goulots – probably just as good but my personal preference is for the additional finesse of Goulots. Concentrated wine for the longer term, very well made." 91-94 pts., Jasper Morris MW, insideburgundy.com

2020 Claudie Jobard, Pommard Premier Cru, Les Charmots 12x75cl

The wines of Pommard are renowned for their structured and powerful cuvées and this example is no disappointment. A nose of fragrant cherry precedes an intense framed mouthful of deep berry fruit... and blackcurrants, with great balancing acidity and length. It is of course very young, yet is already showing signs that with time this will be absolutely delicious.

2019 Aurelien Verdet, Vosne-Romanee Premier Cru, Les Beaux Monts 6x75cl

JM93
"This comes from the upper part of Beaux Monts. Lively deep purple with an explosion of whole bunch fruit on the nose. Lots going on here with a certain silkiness. No more than medium bodied but very persistent." 93 pts., Jasper Morris MW, insideburgundy.com

2019 Domaine Anne et Herve Sigaut, Chambolle-Musigny Premier Cru, Les Groseilles 6x75cl

JM89
"Pure, fresh, with soft, pleasantly sour red fruit at the core, the aptly named Groseilles (redcurrants) vineyard, at the heart of the appellation, delivers a delicately silky-textured Chambolle of great focus and precision. Perfect for medium-term ageing, this is a great example of Chambolle that fans of the village will relish." (Mr.Wheeler)
