2021 Jean-Marc Burgaud, Cote du Py Reserve, Morgon 12x75cl

RP93
"The 2021 Morgon Côte du Py is excellent, offering up aromas of cherries, plums and berries mingled with notions of peony, burning embers and sweet spices. Medium to full-bodied, ample and fleshy,... it's seamless and succulent, with melting tannins, lively acids and a long, precise finish. After the richer, more powerful 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2020 vintages, the 2021 marks a return to a more classically proportioned style, even if Burgaud did a great job of avoiding excess and maximizing the potential of those riper vintages." 93 pts., William Kelley, robertparker.com

2021 Philippe Livera (Tilleuls), Chapelle-Chambertin Grand Cru 6x75cl

Expressive, dark, spicy fruit that is silky in texture and nuanced with wisps of aniseed and clove. Remarkable length and precision with a subtle, underlying power. Another great and Grand Cru achievement by Livera. (Mr.Wheeler tasting note)

2021 Philippe Livera (Tilleuls), Gevrey-Chambertin, Clos Village 6x75cl

Darker, more savoury, explosive and spicy, much more muscular and structured than the previous cuvées - we are getting into 1er Cru territory here yet retaining the precision and purity of fruit cosseted in fleshy, juicy texture that is, in my opinion, the hallmark of the estate. 2021 Philippe Livera (Tilleuls), Gevrey-Chambertin, Les Evocelles 6x75cl

This year Les Evocelles is particularly mineral, linear and precise, and while it continues in the very moreish juicy style of the Domaine there is excellent ripeness and power, and oodles of the Gevrey liquorice notes to accompany the ripe cherries. So delicious, and ambitious, too. (Mr.Wheeler tasting note)

2021 Philippe Livera (Tilleuls), Fixin, Rouge 6x75cl

This has been one of the best “punches above its weight” cuvée of our portfolio for a few years now, and the 2021 continues the trend - stunning fruit, silkily-textured yet with a spicy edge, superb energy, really expressive and perfumed, with a glorious finish. A must-have. (Mr.Wheeler tasting note)

2021 Philippe Livera (Tilleuls), Marsannay 6x75cl

2021 is a particularly good year for Marsannay, and this one stopped us in our tracks. Once again from this Domaine this is super juicy, yet now we are seeing power and ripe intensity, real depth and a long, fresh finish - this is absolutely gorgeous. (Mr.Wheeler tasting note)

2021 Philippe Livera (Tilleuls), Cote de Nuits-Villages 6x75cl

Crafted from fruit grown mostly in Brochon, a commune that, apart from Côtes de Nuits Village, can also produce Gevrey, Fixin and Bourgogne rouge - everything bar its own appellation! What does this one tastes like? Glorious! Dark, rich, juicy, mouth-filling with a beautifully-judged, delicately grippy structure. Superb.

2021 Philippe Livera (Tilleuls), Bourgogne, Pinot Noir 6x75cl

Half the crop was lost this year but Livera’s Bourgogne rouge lost none of its joyful quality in this vintage. Super pretty core of red juicy fruit, fleshy with a nice long finish, and some hints of that liquorice that points to fruit grown on the Gevrey terroir. Very hard to beat for the value it delivers. 2021 Domaine Morey Coffinet, Chassagne-Montrachet 6x75cl

"In bottle. Pale colour and a lean tight nose but suggesting more fruit to come. There is a light sulphur reduction which will soon blow off. Clean and pure with an energetic thread, correctly oaked behind. Good length to finish." Jasper Morris MW, insideburgundy.com

2021 Domaine Albert Bichot (Long-Depaquit), Chablis Premier Cru, Les Lys 6x75cl

"Redolent of hawthorn and lime, with supreme structure and brisk acidity, once again Les Lys proves itself a great fit in our portfolio as an enticing source of delicately styled, perfumed 1er Cru Chablis. Quite exquisite." (Mr.Wheeler tasting note)

2021 Domaine William Fevre, Chablis Grand Cru, Les Clos 3x75cl

VM93-95
"The 2021 Chablis Les Clos Grand Cru comes from 4.1 hectares mainly located on the upper sector of the Grand Cru, the vines planted in the postwar period by Maurice Fevre, the father of William... Fevre. It has a powerful bouquet with hints of white flower permeating the citrus fruit and apple blossom aromas. The palate has wonderful salinity on the entry, a fine bead of acidity, citrus-fresh with clementine, hints of peach and a twist of bitter lemon that keeps the finish on its tippy-toes. Great potential. " 93-95 pts., Neal Martin, vinous.com

2021 Domaine William Fevre, Chablis Grand Cru, Bougros Cote Bouguerots 3x75cl

VM93-95
"The 2021 Chablis Bougros Cote Bouguerots Grand Cru, which was cropped at just 17bl/ha this year, has an intriguing bouquet with hints of peach skin and honeysuckle, the precocity of this parcel... seeping through as it opens up. The palate is well balanced with a fine bead of acidity, taut and fresh, quite linear with hints of orange pith and even a dab of ginger towards the spicy, energetic finish. Excellent. 2021 Domaine William Fevre, Chablis Grand Cru, Preuses 3x75cl

VM94-96
"The 2021 Chablis Les Preuses Grand Cru comes from 2.5-hectares split over two parcels. This has one of my favourite aromatics from Fevre this year with superb delineation and mineralite. The palate... is harmonious and poised, very focused and tensile, plenty of energy with a touch of lime and clementine towards the persistent finish. This is an outstanding Chablis that should age supremely well in bottle." 94-96 pts., Neal Martin, vinous.com

2021 Domaine William Fevre, Chablis Grand Cru, Bougros 3x75cl

VM91-93
"The 2021 Chablis Bougros Grand Cru comes from southwest facing parcels (Fevre almost half the holdings in this Grand Cru) has a very marine-influenced bouquet with touches of granite and a light... smoky note. The palate is well balanced with a fine bead of acidity, nicely focused with a touch of quince complementing the citrus fruit, though I am just seeking a little more mineralito to come through on the final third. 2021 Domaine Rossignol-Trapet, Chambertin Grand Cru 3x75cl

"Power, intensity, texture. Layer upon layer of so gorgeously nuanced with notes of lavender, pepper, toasted brioche, aniseed, winter spice... Expansive and endlessly expressive on a finish that lingers and lingers. As ever, such a complete wine, and one that promises quite graceful ageing." (Mr.Wheeler tasting note)

2021 Samuel Billaud, Chablis Grand Cru, Blanchot 6x75cl

From the eastern end of the grands crus vineyards and adjacent to Les Clos. Here, Blanchots shows elegant, honeyed fruit, a whisper of oak and seriously impressive length. (Mr.Wheeler tasting note)

2021 Domaine Michel Magnien, Clos de la Roche Grand Cru 6x75cl

"Deeply aromatic, intense, layers of strawberry and cherry fruit, fine tannins in a wine brimming with class and the potential for this class to only heighten with age. An exceptional wine from an exceptional Grand Cru. Outstanding." (Mr.Wheeler tasting note)

2021 Domaine Joseph Voillot, Volnay Premier Cru, Fremiets 6x75cl

Silky with delicately polished edges, Etienne's 2021 Frémiets is structured and harmonious, with a deliciously red berry-led core of fruit. Lovely intensity, we are very much in 1er Cru terrritory here.

2021 Laurent Cognard, Montagny Premier Cru, La RaRissime 6x75cl

"This unique blend, produced for the first and possibly the only time in 2021, is the silver lining to Laurent's top plots being hit so hard by the frost that none of them could be vinified on their... own. Instead he took the decision to make one blend with the cream of his 1er Cru holdings, including Le Vieux Château, Le Clos du Vieux Château and La Grande Pièce. The result is a wine of sublime concentration, impressive dry extract (which translates as great texture) and a lifting, nervy acidity peaking through the finish and carrying the whole as it lingers on. Amazingly intense, expressive and perfectly balanced - very special indeed." (Mr.Wheeler tasting note)

2021 Jean-Marc Burgaud, Grand Cras , Morgon 12x75cl

RP92
"Notes of wild berries, plums, smoked duck and orange rind introduce the 2021 Morgon Grands Cras, a medium to full-bodied, ample and succulent wine that's supple and sensual, with lively acids and a saline finish. It's another wine that shows the lighter vintage at its best." 92 pts., William Kelley, robertparker.com

2021 Domaine Rossignol-Trapet, Gevrey-Chambertin Premier Cru, Petite Chapelle 6x75cl

"The four-hectare Petite Chapelle vineyard is one of the easternmost Premier Crus in Gevrey-Chambertin and lies just below the Chapelle-Chambertin grand cru itself. We loved this wine when we tasted... it at the Domaine in November. It has a very floral nose with hints of gentle and seductive oak, and wonderful sprightly acidity. The cherry and stone fruit palate has a spicy and powerful underbelly, and its saline minerality rounds things off to provide truly pleasurable experience." (Mr.Wheeler tasting note)

2021 Domaine Rossignol-Trapet, Gevrey-Chambertin Premier Cru, Clos Prieur 6x75cl

"Delicate and refined, it provides the yin to the yang of its more robust neighbour, Petite Chapelle, giving us once again an open and aromatic style of Gevrey. There is a great weight of fruit with... plenty of tension and underlying power, but it is overlaid with a real elegance and subtly that sets it apart from its more muscular compatriots. Delightful." (Mr.Wheeler tasting note)

2021 Dupre Goujon, Cote de Brouilly, 6.3.1 12x75cl

"Dark, intense, structured, this is a very powerful wine, a bit of a beast of a Brouilly, yet it is opened and amoratic still. This one will need a little time to fully open up but what a brilliant... effort, much closer in style to a Côte-Rôtie or a 1er Cru Morey-St-Denis from a top vineyard than most Beaujolais you might have experienced. Impressive." (Mr.Wheeler tasting note)

2021 Domaine Henri Magnien, Aloxe-Corton Premier Cru, La Coutiere 6x75cl

A small percentage of whole bunch really opens the nose up here with aromatic florals and notes of spearmint lifting a black cherry liqueur core and winter spice. Great precision and harmony on the palate already, then terrific length in an approachable Villages bottling. This will age with much grace. (Mr.Wheeler tasting note)
