2022 Domaine Morey Coffinet, Chassagne-Montrachet 6x75cl

JM91
"Pale lemon. From three vines, Chaumes, Lombardes, Charrieres, from south to north. More pure fruit less reduction, a very pleasing orchard fruit on the palate, a touch softer in the middle, good acidity. Attractively balanced, probably will be accessible young. Good long aftertaste." 91 pts. Jasper Morris MW, insideburgundy.com

2021 Domaine Jacques Carillon, Puligny-Montrachet 12x75cl

"Mid-pale lemon. Very classic, fresh but ripe apple and lemon. Medium-bodied with tangy, brisk acidity. Touch of leesiness, and spice and vanilla from the oak. Fresh and vigourous. Moderate volume and length." 16 pts., Matthew Hayes, jancisrobinson.com

2022 Domaine Jacques Carillon, Puligny-Montrachet 6x75cl

JM90-93
Pale yellow, firm bouquet as a little bit of sulphur at this stage. Clean, brisk, medium powerful. Fills out really well on the palate, with a grapey generosity. More spritz in a second sample, a... tiny bit more alcohol, but excellent length. The third is crunchy and spicy. Excellent. Seven plots in all across the village Drink from 2027-2032. Tasted: October 2023. 90-93 pts., Jasper Morris MW, www.insideburgundy.com

2022 Domaine Jacques Carillon, Chassagne-Montrachet 6x75cl

JM88-91
"Planted in 2013 close by the Château de Chassagne. Clear pale lemon yellow, with quite an open bouquet, light apple fruit, without the complete feel of the Puligny. A little youthful bitterness, but good length, an attractive wine which does not quite challenge the Puligny." 88-91 pts., Jasper Morris MW, www.insideburgundy.com

2022 Patrick Javillier, Meursault, Tete Murgers 6x75cl

JM91-93
"Mid lemon and lime colour. The bouquet is strict, backward nose but with promise. This develops beautifully, there is as always so much more muscle on this, and it is a very complete wine, with all the elements properly integrated, including a fine thread of acidity. Drink this and be happy." 91-93 pts., Jasper Morris MW, insideburgundy.com

2022 Patrick Javillier, Corton-Charlemagne Grand Cru 6x75cl

JM93-95
"This is still in barrel, unracked. Pale primrose, the bouquet is less easy to discern at this stage, with a minor oxidative note and some reduction. Put that to one side. On the palate this is... classic, with a wealth of white fruit, a mineral underlay, a touch of oak too of course, some power and good length. Should emerge from its cocoon very soundly." 93-96 pts., Jasper Morris MW, insideburgundy.com

2022 Patrick Javillier, Meursault, Les Tillets 6x75cl

JM89-92
"A light green tint in the colour, with a fresh and floral nose, as always with a touch of lime blossom. Fine energy on the palate without putting on too much flesh, indeed medium bodied, quite an elegant hillside Meursault. " 89-92 pts., Jasper Morris MW, insideburgundy.com

2022 Domaine Gerard Thomas, Saint-Aubin Premier Cru, Les Perrieres 6x75cl

“We discovered this new cuvée with Isabelle this year, while the vines were young the grapes from their 1er Cru Perrières were declassified into some of the Villages and regional appellations,... However, now that the vineyard is maturing, from 2022, the quality of the fruit very much justifies being bottled under its own label. We found it singing and decided to include it in our portfolio as it is the perfect counterpart to the rich and full-bodied Murgers des Dents de Chien that has been a staple of our offering for years. les Perrières delights with notes of hawthorn lifting the citrus-led nose. Excellent precision, juicy citrus fruit again on the palate, and the combination of a laser-like acid structure and mineral notes on the finish bring much focus and length. An impressive first vintage under this label!” Mr.Wheeler Wine

2022 Benjamin Leroux, Meursault, Blanc 6x75cl

JM89-92
"On its finings, the village Meursault is blended from lower slope vineyards plus Bois de Blagny just under the forest. Elegant white fruit, a mix of apple and pear, displaying more body weight on... the palate. The Meursault retains good acidity as well, so this will continue to build in the right direction." 89-92 pts., Jasper Morris MW, insideburgundy.com

2022 Claudie Jobard, Rully, Montagne la Folie 6x75cl

"More new oak and less 1-year-old due to volumes difference between ‘21 and 22 – all barrel fermented. Some pear-drop flavours on the palate; juicy, and some dry extract, so texturally a little... hint of pithy grapefruit lifting the riper citrus notes. Recognisably Rully, with its buttery and citrus edge and energy. Elegant and delicious, ready to drink now and for the mid-term (3-4 years). " (Mr.Wheeler tasting note)

2022 Domaine Gerard Thomas, Saint-Aubin, Champ Tirant 6x75cl

"Impressive tension for this Lieu dit Village wine - it is a big step up from the regional appellations. Super fresh with lime-scented green apple at the core, and the laser-like acidity balances the whole very well indeed. It lingers for ages with a saline, sapid finish. Very, very good and begging to be paired with food. " Mr Wheeler Wine

2022 Domaine William Fevre, Chablis Grand Cru, Bougros Cote Bouguerots 1x150cl

JM93-97
"A glowing pale lemon and lime. Sunny and fresh at the same time, with an extraordinary tension on the nose. Still a wine of discretion, Didier has made wines which completely avoid heaviness while still delivering all that is necessary in concentration and backbone. Sublime persistence." 93-97 pts., Jasper Morris MW, insideburgundy.com

2022 Domaine William Fevre, Chablis Premier Cru, Vaillons 6x75cl

VM90-92
"The 2022 Chablis Vaillons 1er Cru had been blended the previous week, during which a majority of the lees is kept. Often one of my favourite cuvées from William Fevre, the entrancing bouquet has... impressive intensity on the nose. The palate is well-balanced with lemon verbena and touches pear, a fine sense of energy and composure, and a persistent finish. This already looks very promising." 90-92 pts., Neal Martin, vinous.com

2022 Domaine William Fevre, Chablis Premier Cru, Montmains 6x75cl

JM93-95
"Clear lemon and lime colour. Just a very light coquillage reduction. Then the wine builds a beautiful level of intensity on the palate, a lime thread, very salivating for its dry finish. An impeccable balance, this is faultless. And so persistent! Nothing heavy, nothing over sunny." 93 pts., Jasper Morris MW, insideburgundy.com

2022 Domaine William Fevre, Chablis Grand Cru, Preuses 6x75cl

DE96
"Beautiful mix of richness, grace and drive. As always with Fèvre's Les Preuses, this is elegant, long-living and fine. Ultra-stylish and very mineral. From two sections of vines. One situated low... down on Les Preuses next to Vincent Dauvissat's plot, on the flatter part facing south, the other on deeper soils, with both adding richness and totalling 2.5ha." 96 pts., Andy Howard MW, decanter.com

2022 Domaine William Fevre, Chablis Grand Cru, Les Clos 6x75cl

JM95-98
"Mostly from old vines, a good half planted between 1948 and 1952. Translucent lemon and lime colour. The bouquet is not ready to unfurl yet there is a sense of sublime purity about the nose. A wine... in perfect harmony on its wide bench of white fruit. Just a little touch of spice behind, good acidity. Sign up for this!" 95-98 pts., Jasper Morris MW, insideburgundy.com

2022 Domaine William Fevre, Chablis Grand Cru, Bougros 6x75cl

JM92-95VM92-94
"Fresh pale green tint. Didier describes this as the entry level grand cru. The average age of the vines is at or above 60 years. There is admirable tension here, an electric start, more middleweight... through the middle, then quite a powerful middle with decent dry extract, and good length. Keeps coming back." 92-95 pts., Jasper Morris MW, www.insideburgundy.com

2022 Domaine William Fevre, Chablis 6x75cl

JM89-92
"To bottle in November. The average age is 40 year old vines, and 10% in wood. Excellent long finish. Sources are Chablis and Chichée for half and the rest in Viviers, 50 year old vines. Well... drained steep slope which though south facing is at altitude and stays fresh. A fresh lemon yellow. The nose is a little more subdued than the Petit Chablis but more classical. This too has the attractive saline bitterness of extreme youth, but the fruit builds beautifully on the palate." 89-92 pts., Jasper Morris, insideburgundy.com

2022 Morey Coffinet, Bourgogne Aligote 6x75cl

Over the past 3 vintages, we have been very impressed by the rise of Aligoté. Much greater care and passion go into the winemaking of this once-modest grape these days, and it is reaching new... heights of quality thanks to curbed yields, older vines, and careful treatment in the winery. Add to this the excellent natural acidity, which comes in handy in the warm vintages we experience most years now. Thibault's Aligoté is the perfect example - brilliant, pithy texture and crisp finish balanced with green apple and citrus fruit. Lovely weight and is utterly refreshing. Yum! (Mr.Wheeler Wine)

2022 Domaine Gerard Thomas, Saint-Aubin Premier Cru, Les Murgers des Dents de Chien 6x75cl

Named after the shape of the many jagged walls around the vineyard, Murgers des Dents de Chien has been one of our best selling white Burgundies for many years now. The 2022 shows superb mid-palate... richness with a beautifully creamy texture and plenty of fresh apple and citrus notes with hints of cereals and hazelnut. Lovely harmony and length, very fresh indeed on the long finish.

2022 Laurent Cognard, Montagny Premier Cru, Cuvee Lison 6x75cl

"Crafted from the latest parcel to be added to the domaine, and aptly named after Laurent's youngest daughter, Cuvée Lison is another example of Laurent's Genius in creating whites of superb... textural depth. the elevage is done in 50% large (500 litres) new oak barrels, and 50% in sandstone amphorae. The former with its controlled oxidative character brings opulence and expression of fruit, whereas the latter, a reductive vessel, keeps things very tight, precise and mineral. The resulting blend is a wine that can be enjoyed in its first 5 years for the joyful, crunchy freshness of its pear-scented fruit, or indeed left to age a little more to bring out more buttery and hazelnut notes. 2022 Laurent Cognard, Montagny 1er Cru & Co 6x75cl

Although 1er Cru & Co is technically a blend of 3 vineyards, in fact, it is a single plot, situated at the corner of those adjoining vineyards. It has shot to the top of our white Burgundy sales... since its addition to our portfolio a few years ago, and the reason is simple – here we have Montagny, but not as you know it. Laurent produces wines of great breeding, texture, balance, and complexity, and his Montagny 1er Cru & Co would rival a vast number of 1er crus from Chassagne or Meursault -- at a fraction of the price. A true connoisseur’s wine, then, and the 2022 expression delivers a gorgeous blend of ripe citrus fruit, a minerally finish, and a texture crying out for roasted fowl. (Mr.Wheeler Wine)
