This second wine of Pauillac's Pichon Baron de Longeville is an elegant and easy drinking cuvée blended with 60% cabernet sauvignon and 40% merlot with delightful black fruit flavours on the palate... and ripe, unobtrusive tannins to balance. Though produced primarily for early drinking, it retains all the substance and structure to see it through a good twenty more years of graceful ageing.
