2020 Domaine William Fevre, Chablis Grand Cru, Cote Bouguerots 3x150cl

“The 2020 Chablis Bougros Côte Bouguerots Grand Cru comes from two south-facing parcels on steep, sunny inclines. Proximity to the river keeps nighttime temperatures lower, maintaining acidity.... The intense nose features lemon thyme, crushed pebbles and sea spray scents. The palate sports a minor reduction, but there is fine depth here along with a keen line of acidity. Touches of white peach and nectarine emerge toward the minerally finish. Very fine.” Drink 2024-2042, 92-94 pts. Neal Martin, www.vinous.com

2021 Chateau Beaumont, Haut-Medoc 6x150cl

JR15.5
“Pretty, expressive, with a juicy core of cassis and blueberry, hints of cedar and tobacco leaf. A fresh, juicy and creamy texture and plenty of energy, with its long finish and fine-grained, lightly firm structure. Very fine indeed, and a bargain to boot”. Mr Wheeler tasting note

2020 Chateau Palmer 3eme Cru Classe, Margaux 3x150cl

VM96-98
"The 2020 Palmer, which was matured in 65% new oak, possesses one of the most perfumed bouquets of the vintage with entrancing, seductive scents of black cherries, wild strawberry, iodine and crushed... violets, all beautifully delineated (as per usual). The palate is medium-bodied with fine but quite firm tannins, lending this Palmer more backbone than presupposed. Blackberry, graphite and touches of liquorice develop with aeration that build towards an assertive, pencil box-tinged finish that nods towards Pauillac. This is a Palmer destined for long-term ageing, so readers should have a cool damp cellar handy. It is a serious Palmer, very different from the previous two vintages, not a mix of the two, but content in just being itself." 96-98 pts., Neal Martin, vinous.com

2020 Chateau Mauvesin Barton, Moulis en Medoc 3x150cl

DE92
"Melanie Barton has now been in charge at Mauvesin-Barton for 10 years, and there is a real feeling of the wine having found its voice - a gentle, fruit-forward Moulis with finesse if not a huge... amount of power. Delicate with vibrancy, plenty of blackberry fruits with well-defined but soft tannins, they have really done a great job in the vintage, a value pick and I can't remember tasting a better example of this wine during en primeur." 2020 Paul Jaboulet Aine, Hermitage, La Maison Bleue 3x150cl

DE92
“Mostly sourced from les Murets, the 2020 Hermitage La Maison Bleue is a solid effort, with appealing notes of blackberries, raspberries and espresso on the nose. It's full-bodied and rich, yet... streamlined and focused, with savory tones of black olives appearing on the softly dusty finish. It should drink well young, yet age well for more than a decade.” 92-94 pts, Joe Czerwinski, www.robertparker.com Drink 2026-2045

2020 Paul Jaboulet Aine, Hermitage, La Chapelle Rouge 3x150cl

DE93
Blood-orange/grapefruit zest on a tight, polished nose; great minerality with deeper, plummier notes. A creamy, bitter black fruit palate; beautifully textured with an authentic, savoury, olive... tapenade core freshened further by a persistent streak of granite minerality and more juicy, deep citrus fruit. Proper grip and structure; very clean, long, peppery finish. Sheer elegance; utterly delicious.

2020 Chateau Cantemerle 5eme Cru Classe, Haut-Medoc 3x150cl

"This has the tight tannins of the vintage with damson and an edge of bitter dark chocolate, but it is a success all the same - confident, succulent, elegant and classic." 93 pts., Jane Anson, www.decanter.com

2020 Chateau Batailley 5eme Cru Classe, Pauillac 3x150cl

VM93-95
"The 2020 Batailley is quintessential Pauillac on the nose of very focused black fruit infused with cedar and graphite. The palate is medium-bodied with firm, grippy tannins and a fine bead of... acidity. Classic in style, this is lightly spiced, showing impressive depth toward the finish. This estate has enjoyed a good run of form in recent years and this 2020 continues that trend. If you love the style of Batailley, you will love this." 93-95 pts., Neal Martin, www.vinous.com

2020 Chateau Talbot 4eme Cru Classe, Saint-Julien 3x150cl

DE95
As Chateau Talbot’s third vintage under the direction of Jean-Michel Laporte (ex-La Conseillante) overlapped a trio of consecutive great years in Bordeaux, there was every indication that his 2020... would create as much anticipation as his 18’s and 19’s. That expectation was fully justified with the refinement and elegance this St Julien gem continues show. A blend of 76% Cabernet Sauvignon, 21% Merlot, 3% Petit Verdot, the vintage shows a floral and fruit spectrum on the nose, with blackcurrant, berry and cassis; lifted, concentrated and fresh, its palate is expansive with a delicious lick of minerality, one whose elegance is matched only by a terrific length.

2018 Castellare di Castellina, Sodi San Niccolo, IGT 1x150cl

WS96
"Lovely abundance and expression on the nose, you get that perfect clarity of fruit - black fruits and blackcurrant laced with violets. Strong, round and rich - this is densely concentrated with... power and punch. Gorgeous texture - dry with firm firm tannins and a direct fruit profile - tension and linearity yet there's plushness and ripeness here too. It's round yet direct but also sweet and succulent. I love that immediately juicy perfumed hit you get on the tongue, such brightness and energy here, the sweet red cherry edge is so delicious. Supremely charming but also fun, such playfulness going on with the flavours and the textures." 96 pts., Georgina Hindle, www.decanter.com

2016 Les Tourelles de Longueville, Pauillac 6x150cl

The 2016 Les Tourelles de Longueville is a blend of 58% Merlot, 25% Cabernet Sauvignon, 12% Cabernet Franc and 5% Petit Verdot (from young vines that are destined to go into the Grand Vin one day,... according to Christian Seely), matured in 30% new oak for 12 months. It offers a mixture of red and black fruit on the nose, just a touch of melted tar with fine delineation. The palate is medium-bodied with quite a powerful opening, dense black fruit tinged with graphite, a solid Deuxième Vin with a slightly aloof finish (at least at the moment). There is a pleasant graphite note lingering long on the aftertaste that completes a fine Pauillac to enjoy over the next 12-15 years. Drink 2021 – 2040. 90-92 pts., Neal Martin, Vinous
